Lara & Kirsten
Name: Lara Frasier Child: Kirsten Frasier Age: 3 months
How did you discover Baby Einstein?
My sister introduced me to Baby Einstein DVD's and toys with her children. This past June I gave birth to my daughter Kirsten. I was so excited to register for Baby Einstein gifts for my baby shower. I received books, a playmat and smaller toys to hook onto her car seat or wherever we can, she loves Baby MacDonald.
What was the first Baby Einstein product you received?
Introducing books to Kirsten early was really important to me. She loves the book Water Water Everywhere and also enjoys looking at the book First Words and Mirror Me! She also enjoys her Baby MacDonald.
How did your baby respond?
Kirsten loves her books, she holds and turns the pages of Water Water Everywhere. It’s light and foamy and easy to wipe drool off of. I can't wait for her to take it in the bathtub with her once she gets a little older.
What was your most memorable Baby Einstein moment?
In Kirsten's short life time, at 2 1/2 months she sat holding her Water Water Everywhere book and babbled, cooed and smiled at the pictures while turning the pages with very little help from Mom.
Leanne & Keagan
Name: Leanne Campbell Child: Keagan Age: 1 year
Both Keagan and I love the DVDs, books and puppets. I don't know what we would have done without Baby Beethoven when she was younger. It always worked to soothe her. Even now she lights up any time she sees certain characters like the giraffe or cow.
Keagan absolutely adores the DVDs, books and puppets. I searched long and hard and was able to find the musical cow puppet that sings Old MacDonald. This is her favorite toy. Every time we bring it out she hugs it and giggles along with the music and counting. Keagan also loves to flip through the board books even when someone is not there to read them. She smiles at all the pictures and colours.
I would have to say the first time I heard Keagan giggle with delight when she saw the cow on the Baby Beethoven DVD. I immediately replayed it and got the same reaction. I still get it to this day, so that is why we immediately bought the Baby MacDonald DVD, any book that had the cow in it and the puppet. We call the puppet Wellington because of the music that plays on the DVD when he shows up. Even her 1st birthday cake had the Wellington on it.
Brittany & Michelle
Name: Brittany Child: Michelle Age: 1 year
First movie we rented from the library, because we saw them at the store but were skeptical to purchase. After watching now we have countless movies and products.
Her favorite book is Jane’s Animal Expedition and every Baby Einstein movie!
With the movies she is so intrigued and laughs and claps. It makes you feel good as a parent when opportunities to encourage your baby are made so easily. She pretends to read the books for twenty minutes, pointing and mumbling at the pictures.
Have you talked to other people about Baby Einstein?
Yes! I tell everyone how much she loves them and how they really have benefited the quality time we have had together.
